Epson Stylus Photo R2400 Specifications

Regarding photo printers, the Epson Stylus Photo R2400 is something else. Whether you’re an amateur or a professional, it will produce a print that will impress you. The UV light from the UltraChrome K3inks captures all eight spectrum colors, translating to fuller saturation in colors and better gradations of grey tones for black and white work. The papers it handles are diverse satin finish, matte, etc. The only difference is that few, like the R2400, get a natural substance to recommend. Detail clarity is well processed. Thanks to a high end Micro Piezo print head giving a maximum resolution of 5760 x 1440 dpi, the results are simply teeming with detail. The R2400 has been around for 4-5 years but compensates for that minor drawback with a high build quality and fine output. They are now among the leading players in the ranks of professional photographers.

When it comes to speed, the R2400 is not a first rate printer. But the more time consuming process also has the advantage of higher quality. Consequently, the R2400 is more about accuracy and quality than speed, this makes it suitable for people who are fussy (in the most excellent sense of the word) about what their print looks like rather than simply ‘first out.’ One drawback of the R2400 is that the ink is a little expensive. It can be a considerable sum of money over some time, especially for regular printmakers. But for those seriously into photography, the printer’s top-quality output can compensate for the expense.

The performance of the Epson Stylus Photo R2400 holds up well when stacked against others in its class. The faithful color and black and white output of the R2400 remain competitive, although there are models with newer features. It’s not the printer for anyone looking for fast and cheap everyday use, but it excels in top quality photo shows. The R2400 is best suited for photography buffs who need top quality print work and can carry on spending.
