The Epson Expression Premium XP-700 separates itself from the pack of all-in-one printers with its glossy and versatile good looks that will likely fit home decor. Just in time for the end-of-year festivities, Epson has recently launched its Small-in-One expression XP-700 – a new printer to help meet all your Christmas printing needs. XP-700 looks like a very impressive and attractive-looking bit of kit. In terms of its performance, the XP-700 has many remarkable features. It uses Epson’s five-color Claria Premium ink set, which includes a Photo Black ink cartridge for high-quality photo prints with rich detail and color depth. Its high-resolution capabilities allow it to produce prints from 4 x 6 inches to A4 size, so it can handle everyday documents and produce high-quality photographs. The dual front-loading paper trays with a rear specialty media feed offer the convenience of printing different paper types and sizes simultaneously. Wireless connectivity is another pro, making it possible to print from multiple devices – phones, tablets, etc – via Epson Connect and with Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Print compatibility.
The XP-700 offers impressive print quality and well-rounded features, but it hastens. It’s not the fastest model on the market- its print speeds are bested by a few competitors, especially when printing high-quality photos. Ink efficiency is another concern; while photo prints are high-quality, high-yield cartridges would favor heavy printing users. However, that’s different from saying the XP-700 won’t be a good fit for some users.
